A short trek away from the main path, leads you to a steep stairway down to the water, where large granite pillars resemble the towers of a chapel - there Jon preached the word of Christ to those who dared listen. The trek continues after the end of the stairs, and if you continue via the rocks towards the water you’ll find cave that you can enter. This is Jon’s chapel. A beautiful area, but mind your step. There is no cell reception.

My personal highlight on Bornholm. Coming from Ronne by bike, the way to the sight was beautiful as well. I discovered Jons Kapel by accident on my way to the Hammershus. It was the best coincidence I experienced on Bornholm.
