I have been to Duodde before, but when I visited this time the nearby beach was awarded to be one of the best in Europe according to the magazine Monocle. Sadly it seems the lighthouse was closed because it is out of season currently. It was also a bit stormy and rainy so we basically had the beach all to ourselves.

One of the most beautiful beautiful beaches in Denmark. I especially enjoy the many sand dunes and the lighthouse. In the summer, you can walk the stairs to the top.

It's a lighthouse in a quite touristy area. Overpriced food of questionable quality can be found nearby, and the beach is a minor hike away. Plenty of parking.

Great view over the dunes and sea. Worth the 20 kroner entrance fee
