Aros Allé 2, 8000 Aarhus, Denmark
Loved the architectural design. Good customer reception and service. Basement has a display but also some recreational sports facility. Particularly loved the kids laying down below the huge mirror type sphere there. Very interesting variety of displays, with some interactive ones too. Great panoramic view of Aarhus from top rainbow tinted glazed rooftop corridor. !
Spacious art museum with exhibits on several different floors showcasing the work of notable Danish and European artists. Really enjoyed the exhibits/installations and learning the story behind the various pieces. I ended up spending a few hours here.
Very well designed and impressive contemporary art museum with changing and thought-out exhibitions, loved the rainbow view on the rooftop and the architecture is beautiful. Highly recommended and absolutely worth to visit, it surely needs some hours to explore everything.
Nice place to spend some time! The exhibitions were very interesting and all written English is excellent. It's €20 entry normally or €16 entry for students. Bags must be left in the cloakroom
Located in the heart of Aarhus, this is a must visit for all. The experience it offers is unique and beautiful. It is best to start from the lowest level of the building and work your way up the floors. This would mean you start with the installation arts and move up to the rainbow walk atop the museum from where you can see all of Aarhus. There is a cafeteria as well on the top floor, in case you want to indulge your appetite. A special mention must be made of the infinity room where you see endless reflections of yourself and is, frankly, a good way to see things from different perspectives, literally.
