Avakas Gorge Rd, Peyia, Cyprus
Soon lost the large safari trips and the gorge experience improved considerably after that. The steep banks were pretty unstable, quite a few large rocks tumbling around us. A shady tranquil experience but a pretty hot second half once out of the gorge
Really beautiful place for a hike. Trail isn't too hard but take care on wet stones and be careful when you see goats high above you - they drop stones while climbing. Be ready to get a little wet (water shoes recommended) and dirty.
A nice place for hiking and taking photos. You can park your car there or at the beach close by. It is an easy hike at least the first two kilometers to the gorge but a bit slippery and not suitable for kids. Take water and something to eat with your self.
Adventure Place ! With the family and friends you can spend their all day ! Not for small children ( dangerous ! ). There is no food, some places can find drinkable water. It's so amazing place, that breathes what you are see !!
A nice place to hike. Be aware of slippery places! Saw some goats there. Not really clean place, tourists leave their leftovers :( The road to the gorge is not paved, beware with low cars! Been there twice.
