Had not been there in many years. Went this afternoon after 4pm, so some parts were closed. However it is a lovely spot so peaceful with the beautiful trees, many of which are hundreds of years old. The new church is worth a visit as is the enclosed garden. A truly lovely place to visit and only 8 km from Paphos

Beautiful serene setting with lovely grounds and lots of history. Lovely cafe on the grounds that do the best iced coffees amongst other things. Wear comfy shoes and ladies perhaps cover your shoulders, if not some overcoats/dusters/robes are available.

A beautiful, secluded place high on a mountain slope, among the pine trees. Sturdy buildings and a fine church. A much older monastic building, half hewn out of the rocks, is to be found on the far side from the entrance to the monastery and holds quite remarkable frescoes, even depictions of a Byzantine emperor and empress. Sadly, some frescoes are defaced in places by graffiti. You will be almost alone there, since very few tourists know about this hidden gem. Well worth a visit

Just had a lovely meal here. Steak was cooked perfectly. Yes it's more expensive than other places in coral bay, but it's worth it

A very nicely presented and functional Monastery. It presents its history very well and is very easy to get around. A nice visit with the children and their grandparents.
