Let's tell you the “tale of two cities”. A half-day tour of Trogir and Split is ideal for those looking for things to do in Split and who have limited time.
A morning tour - we head to Trogir in our small group, fully WIFI/AC minibus. Trogir City is just a 35 minute drive from Split and a City which has had 2300 years of cultural and architectural influence by Greeks, Romans, Venetians and Austrians.
In 1997, Trogir was recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site. We tour the small City with a local guide pointing out some of the many highlights and historical significance prior to giving you a little free-time to roam the streets of Trogir prior to heading back to Split.
From the Romans and Venetians to the Austrians and the French – all have left their mark on Split city. Our expert guide will show you the beautiful Diocletian’s palace, as well as the various churches, cathedrals, city walls gates and the bustling squares and markets which boast the diverse architectural influences in Split. Once you’ve enjoyed the many sights of the city, our guide will finish the tour with a walk up the Marjan hill, the lungs of Split, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the city and a brief escape from the bustling streets below.
If you’re in Split for dinner, we’ll also recommend the best restaurants to eat at, depending on your preference…
