Fun little town that's within an hour from Dubrovnik. Definitely worth the trip. You can tour the salt fields and purchase salt from them. You can take either a 20-40-or 80 min hike on the walls surrounding Ston. There is a small playground for children. Overall, a great place to visit that's not very tourist-heavy.

Interesting fortress locates in fields. It resembles a RTS game like Stronghold.

Very nice complex of fortifications around Ston. Nice trip from Ston to Maps Ston on the walls.

its impressive to see how much work has been imputed on reconstruction and restoration of city walls, cant wait for them to be fully operational in few years
