The place is amazing - just imaging how this place was once upon a time. Free to walk the site, amazing stone construction and layout

If you're a fan of this kind of stuff, the medieval ruins really worth the time. There is no tour provided and the entry is free of charge. Parking is available underneath the ruins, next to a fast food. Watch your step since some of the stones are loose.

Huge ruins of Dvigrad town, with more than 200 buildings, standing alone in the forest from the year of 1630, when dwellers left it. It is worth to see, it is same beautiful as Rovinj, and, what is an important thing to mention, without thousands of tourists... :)

No one else around. In testing. Wonder how long the remains will last. The bush is busy taking over

The ruins of Dvigrad have a rich history. The problem is that there is no one to tell you that nor any infographics. The ruins are in a vary bad shape and it could be dangerous. There is a project to make them more attracrive but we will have to wait a couple Of years more. For now I would raccomend it as a part of a one day trip around the internal Istria countryside and nothing more unfortunately.
