At $24 per person we nearly didn't go on the tour, but so glad we did. The owner himself gives the tour which is super informative and interesting. A lovely walk through the jungle / plantation and then seeing how chocolate is made from beginning to end. Plenty of opportunity to taste as well - the 'fruit' of the cocoa pod, the fantastic hot chocolate and a lovely red fruit juice. And of course chocolate, the end product. Highly recommended.

First off, if you are even slightly considering taking this tour then just do it! It is a fantastic tour! David was our guide. He was brilliant in every way. He showed us so many jungle things from animals, and birds to bullet ants. His professionalism is top notch. He is so knowledgeable and is a great teacher. We ate so many different things off the trees. It was like a grocery store in the jungle. I won’t spoil the surprises of this trip. JUST GO!!!

Loved the tour. The owner did a great job for the tour. We taste a couple of sample/fruits. Worth 24$ in my opinion.

Great tour of The wildlife, plants and animals found in Costa Rica. Chocolate history a plus on the tour. Our guide, Kerr(not sure of spelling), was fantastic.
