Comuna 13 Is fantastic but I hated this tour. 20 people in our group on a busy day was WAY too many and I felt like we just spent the entire time blocking the one road/walkway and inconveniencing residents. Our guide didn't really do a good job explaining the murals, which were pretty self explanatory anyway. Plus I was told the tour was 2.5 hours and it went over 4, making me late for an appointment. I'd recommend just going by yourself and doing it at your own pace.

We found a guide who speaks English very well. His name is Stiven (he was wearing a purple t-shirt.) He is from the Comuna so he knows the story pretty well. It was a good time.

I recommend 100% this tour... This is an example of the transportation that Medellin is having. You can take this tour in San Javier station, there you will find a lot people, who do that .... Take the free walking tour it costs around 25.000 pesos and bring extra cash to give some tips to the people 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

Best tour that yo can have in Medellin-Colombia , you can either have a tour guide or do it by yourself and either one is cheap ,another thing that people ask me is about if this place is safe and the answer is YES !! Trust me you you will have the best tour by knowing and interacting with the people from The Comuna 13 , and the last thing and you can’t miss is the mango biche ice cream or a cold beer (Michelada) enjoy it
