Ruta, Guatin, San Pedro de Atacama, Región de Antofagasta, Chile
We were lucky that the day was beautiful and sunny to be out in the hot springs. What's great about visiting Termas is that it's controlled into how many visitors can visit at a time. Not too crowded and you can take your time to relax and enjoy what it offers. A must visit!
Nice place. 7 or 8 different pools you can relax in. Some are right under small waterfalls.
Hot Waters and good structure to change clothes, but is pretty hard to get out if the water in the winter. If you come in the afternoon keep in mind the sun stays in the water until around 3:30pm since the place is located in a valley.
Beautiful, scenic, and with very fun hot spring pools (though I wouldn't call the hot springs "hot" because the temperatures were more on the warm and warmly-cool side). There are clean bathrooms and locker rooms, but not much else is provided; there aren't food vendors or locks for the locker room or other amenities, so make sure you bring your own. Note that there's no cell service here, so be careful if you have health issues or take risks jumping around in the slippery pool beds!
Explora owns the 1st pool. They have facilities which is nice and the nice spread of food and drinks they offer. There isn't a big waterfall to sit under.
