José Miguel de La Barra 650, Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile
While the building that houses the art collection is beautiful, that is where it all ends. The collection is appalling. It is sparse and has very little art of interest. If you like art, don't go.
Overall sparse material. But a gem of a building. 2 of 3 art presentation levels were open. Nice section of hand crafts from Isla Negra. Looks like a larger presentation is held at the GEM.
Beautiful historical building houses a broad regional collection. The exhibition of woman artists was meaningful and impressive. A great place to visit, free of if charge but as a tourist I would recommend this is worth the donation. Really nice park outside.
Much better than I expected. Free entry, too. Go check it out, even if its not necessarily targeted for foreigners.
The building is beautiful and this place only houses a small number of a fine art collection
