Mount Yamnuska, Bighorn No. 8, AB T0L, Canada
Like everybody else said, the trail changed every so often that you weren’t getting tired of the same type of terrain. It is steep on the way down and make sure you wear the appropriate footwear. Running shoes won’t cut it.
Great hike! A lot of variety. One part is through a forest, another rocky side with a bit scrambling which is a lot of fun and not hard at all, and scree on the way down.
no starbucks at the top. Was told there would be a coffee joint and beer for the wife and kids. Honestly, how could you see past the fact that there literally will never be one at this rate (isn't this a national park???)

Challenging, but such a rewarding hike! Beautiful views all through the loop. Took our group of 4 about six hours, with plenty of breaks along the way.
