Travel back in time as the stadium and nearby facilities are being renovated. From the first Olympic games to the most recent event, see the major events that were held in the stadium. Take the time to walk around it 360 degrees as each angle has its own charm. I recommend walking around at the end of the afternoon when the sun is down and gives ample shadow around the east side of the building. Easy and direct access with the metro.
Went there around 5pm for the food trucks. Walked around and looked at the various trucks and menus. Ordered from 2 trucks. They had music playing. They had tables to eat on. Also they fire pits. Had a good time. It was fun.
My visit was FANTASTIC!! The Tower was exciting overlooking beautiful Montreal. While there we toured the Botanical Gardens across the boulevard. A must see The Chinese Gardens. Beautiful Asian botanical design. Be prepared to do quite a bit of walking!
They Olympic stadium park is a fantastic place to visit. It is rich in history dating back to its creation from 1976 when the park was created for the Olympics that Montreal was hosting. At the road corner of pi 9 and sherbrooke Avenue is a place where you can have your picture taken on the winners podium and have the Olympic rings behind you. Very cool Nice place to visit. A must see destination
The guided tour in the stadium should be much better. There are a lot of interesting facts about this place but the tour is just running through on the most common ones. The observatory worth the ticket the view from above is beautiful.
