Kitsilano beach is the most popular beach among the locals in Vancouver. It’s located in the hippest part of the city. You can see people from all walks of life are on the beach from families with and without kids, teens, adults and old people too. There is a swimming pool, kids play area and basketball court right next to the beach. The beach is in the middle of the city, yet it feels so secluded and peaceful. You can also play beach volleyball as there are multiple courts in the beach. There’s a fast food joint on the beach and more dining and drinking options across the road from the beach. You can also rent gear like paddle boards etc. for beach activities. There’s always a life guard presence. Across the beach is the Stanley park and North Vancouver. So the views are amazing too. There’s loads of space on the huge grass banks too if you want to hangout if you prefer that to sand.

It was a great experience in a very short time. If you really want to enjoy 😉 bring some food & drinks with you. Having a basketball is a real fun. And please don’t forget you camera for a golden memory. 😍

I do like it! I think it is the best in Vancouver!! Sandy beach with panoramic view for the mountains and Stanley Park. It has public washrooms an amazing saltwater public swimming pool and a concession around.
