Emerald lake is beautiful and the colour of the lake itself is stunning. If you have time, definitely take a walk around the lake where there will be significantly less people. The Emerald Lodge on top of the lake also makes for a great photo with the contrasting colours. On a nice day, the scenery is unbelievable - definitely not so much on a rainy day. There is also a cafe by the lodge where you can sit and soak in all the surrounding beauty. It’s worth the little detour into Field.

Lovely place! Clear emerald water nestled between gorgeous rocky mountains! Trail paths are maintained. There are picnic tables with fantastic view of the lake. You can also rent a canoe to experience the beauty of the lake. Don't go here during summer weekends or summer long weekends. Outhouses are maintained not too stinky.

This is such a beautiful spot, the colour of the water is so vibrant and the view looks like a postcard. This has become a favourite for us and is often not too busy off season. Easy to get to and the drive up is beautiful on its own.

Serene and peaceful... Parking can be tricky so go early or be patient until someone pulls out. It's green color is pleasing to the eyes. Good spot for canoeing

It's beautiful. Been here in summer and winter. In winter people walk on the lake with is a cool sight too. Ive never done the trail or anything just stopped by. By its worth the stop. Beautiful scenery.
