Love this place. Besides being run/staffed by some of the friendliest people and always having amazing coffee/pastries on deck, they also regularly experiment with new menu offerings like brunch and BBQ and the food never misses. I tried their french toast (with ube cream!!) yesterday and I'm still thinking about it. And whenever they bring back their banh mi sandwiches for BBQ: run, don't walk.

Cute place. Fast service, if you want to get a seat on the patio, come early :) They passed eggs Benedict test, it was good.

I’ve gone to this cafe multiple times, and have always had strange, off-putting encounters with the staff. I would write off one odd encounter, but it’s always something new when I visit this place. for example, one time the barista dropped all of the drink lids onto the floor, and then served me a tea using one of those lids. another time the barista assured me that there were “no bugs in my tea” as she proceeded to scoop things out of my tea on the counter in front of me (which she told me were tea leaves that had escaped the teabag). the incidents are never anything major, but they’re enough for me to walk a little further to a different neighbourhood cafe with better / more professional service instead. that being said, the tea has always tasted just fine (although the cup size is very small compared to other local cafes, and I have never been offered a choice of a larger size for my tea) and the croissants here are great! it’s also a bummer that this place doesn’t open until 8AM, which I think is really late for a cafe.

Had a porkbelly skewer that was transcendent. The sauce was perfect, great experience will return many more times

Great selection of coffee and tea, fresh baked goodies, and super friendly staff. This neighborhood gem is tucked just south of Bloor and is a mainstay for locals. Prices are fair and the quality is fantastic! My favourites are the tea lattes and their fresh flaky, buttery croissants. Overall, I highly recommend this spot.
