Cristina:“A coffee shop is an extension of the Roasting Lab. Here is the place where the philosophy of the perfect roasted coffee continues through tests and experiments. Paul is a worldwide awarded barista and has the concentration skills of a shaolin master. He works with the essences and takes into consideration many tiny details in order to create a masterpiece from the cup of coffee that you taste. The most important elements in the coffee making process are water and the roasting of the coffee beans. Both have to be perfect. The rest is all about techniques and creativity. Paul and his team create a unique recipe for each different product. They work with modern machines that are capable of stabilizing the water temperature and the pressure of coffee extraction. They weigh each coffee dose and then they measure the coffee yield from the cup in order to deliver a constant taste quality.”

Counting only 20 square metres, Boiler Coffee Shop design & architecture project was developed by Attila KIM and Gabriel CHIS BULEA, a real challenge to blur the barriers between the client and the barista, but still, clearly, mark the meeting point between the two. Cristina:“Sheida is a social café in the heart of Bucharest. We redirect all of our profits towards the Social Medical Clinic, Baba Novac. Sheida is a relaxing space, allowing you to rest while filling up with energy, allowing your mind to travel to the warm lands of Old Persia. The Gourmet Coffee, 52 types of tea, and Persian cakes with aromas of good deeds can be found only at 23, Ion Câmpineanu Street. Sheida is a story about people and made for people. For us, it is a welcoming place to spend time with our friends after a full day of short deadlines, where we can start a project with our partners or where we can just rest with our loved ones. Sheida was started by Sheida Enayati and her parents, to involve more people and encourage them to do more good, while bringing a smile on the faces of the patients from Baba Novac Medical Clinic and the children from the 2 educational centres of the “Policlinici Sociale Regina Maria” Foundation.
