Luciano Reyes Street, Caye Caulker, Belize
Cute place, kept very clean. Super friendly staff as well! I definitely recommend. It's three blocks back from Front Street, so it was quieter at night than the area with all the hotels. And if you want to do a day trip on the mainland to visit the ruins/cave tube/go to the wildlife reserve you can book Rob's taxi for the day through them. We went to Altun Ha with Rob and had an awesome time; he gave us lots of info about the country and on the way back we stopped at his friend's homemade wine stand for some delicious ice cold cashew wine!
Just as advertised! highly recommend everyone to stay here. Clean room and bathroom. Milly is a great host!
Owner was super friendly and the rooms are decent-sized and clean with everything in working order. She even brought me into the room and showed me where all the light switches, AC controls and everything were. Super happy with the room and interactions. There isn't a TV in the room which doesn't bother me, but if that is something you'd require, then I would look elsewhere. Biggest complaint I have is more location related. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main part of town which is further than most of the hotels. It's also less expensive than most too, so it's a tradeoff.
Wonderful experience. Great place to stay in Caye Caulker. Claudia and David were very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
This was a very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. Perfect price and the owners were on site and so kind. We really appreciated the attention to detail, to make our stay as perfect as possible. I definitely recommend staying here while in Caye Caulker. You can also rent bikes right from the owners, best price in town. Added bonus, is that the cabanas are in gated/locked area. There was also a place outside the room to hang our wet suits, and snorkel gear. The relaxing chairs on your own personal deck is a nice touch.
