If you visit Brussels and it is not really cold and raining... you should consider a walk in the neighborhood of "La place saint cat". High chance to get free live music, great terrasses, and restaurants with a view. Very international environment, but on Friday and the rest of the week end only about 30% are tourists, the majority are living on Brussels and came here because the atmosphere is nice.

Very nice and cosy square to linger when the sun is around. The quality of businesses tends to drop recently. Gaston will serve you the best Brussels waffle. Pippailon and Velvet are excellent for coffee and a snack.
