Hadn't planned to visit this museum when we planned our trip to Belgium, just happened upon a sign on the road and decided to go there. Excellent decision. Not only is there a substantial amount to see here (the indoor exhibitions, the underground and outdoor trench experience) and all very well put together with an extremely informative and comprehensive audio guide. Just to too it off, there is also a beautiful gardens and lake to walk around outside with various memorials. Highly recommend going here, certainly worth the €10.50pp entry fee all day long.

Tasteful and very educational museum that treats the subject matter with due respect and interest. Well thought out exhibits and a well presented audio guide presents a great experience for visitors of all ages. Beautiful parkland surrounds the museum and there's both a Cafe and a picnic area available. Parking is free and plenty.

This museum is well worth a visit - for adults and older children. There is a self guided audio tour which was informative and about the right length. It is worth watching the video presentation half way through - this gave a good overview of the 1917 offensive. We visited after Tyne Cot, which was overwhelming, so the museum was a good note to finish the visit on. The cafe outside was good but fairly expensive.

Beautiful place!! Must visit! It tells you a lot about word war 1 and there are couple of activities you can do for example pick up a… I think it was a Lee Enfield or a Mauser, not sure... You can put on different helmets and clothing pieces and overall a nice place!!!

We didn't go on the museum, but the park surrounding it is magnificent. So peaceful the cafe/restaurant was lovely food good and plenty of it. Had a ham and cheese toastie with salad I couldn't finish it. We were brought an English version of the menu, which was great. Saw the New Zealand totem would go again there's so much to explore
