Koningin Astridplein 7, 2018 Antwerpen, Belgium
An interesting journey from cocoa beans to chocolate. The best part for me was the clear and well made visuals that were used to illustrate this journey. We also watched them make praline chocolates and tried it out. The tour ends with a warm chocolate tasting experience. If you have a sweet tooth like me, listen carefully to the advice and start from the white chocolate before deciding how far bitter you want to go.
16euro for entrance but worth it. The museum is very interactive. English translation device is so helpful. You can see and understand everything here. Greatest part is waiting at the end of the exhibition. You can try a variety of chocolate! The must in Antwerp.
Great place to visit to get some history of the chocolate making side of Belgium. Had a great show in the middle of the tour......very entertaining! At the start and the end there are a few treats so enjoy them and let us know your favorite.
15€ ticket gets you the history of chocolate, live demonstration of making and tasting of pralines and a large room with 10 types of warm liquid chocolate for tasting. I don't enjoy museums and such, so the first part was not fun for me, but the second part was amazing
A great experience. You a guided tour through the production of cocoa, how to make a pralines - and a taste of 10 different chocolate flavours. All of great quality!
