Rue Saint-Boniface 35, 1050 Bruxelles, Belgium
Small and crowded place. Service was good. Ordered the house mussels, generous serving, has bacon bits, cream base and vegetables (celery, onion and some sort of leek).
Amazing food. Great service. Mussels are phenomenal.
Mussels and fries galore! Cooked perfectly. I got the recommendation from a local and it did not disappoint. Plenty of beer on tap and bottle. Some wine and champagne options too. Also options for everyone, not just mussels. Dessert comes in full and mini size. Attention was very good and they speak English. Credit cards are accepted.
Over priced and food is not special at all. Visited this place with 2 Belgian friends, we had dishes which normally were served with fries as sides but here they were charged separately. After the staff wrote down the order (each of us ordered an 18€ of main dish and drinks) he came back and told us that 'we could choose the side dish too because it is not included'. Ordered two portions of fries and they came like 1 portion of fries from friteshop, which compared to other brasserie, is very little. Tbh, it would be fair if they just put 21.50€ per dish. It's ok for 1 time only, but definitely not gonna return nor recommend it to others.
Really bad. Very small place (but with lots of tables) so it is not comfortable at all. The interior seemed okay, but the smell inside was absolutely bad. It was very humid, everything stank like mould and dirty old furniture. The service was AWFUL - slow and very, very rude. The restaurant has a huge sign above the entrance which says "Friterie" but they do not have fries in their menu. The menu itself offers a rather small number of dishes which are ridiculously overpriced (the prices are too high for a restaurant which is that bad). Absolutely would not recommend to anyone to visit. There are tons of better places in Brussels.
