Kahlenberg, 1190 Vienna, Austria
Kahlenberg was the best part of my trip. I definitely recommend going there during evening and enjoy the sunset view with coffee. not too far from city and very well connected with public transport.
Even though the place is quite remote from the city itself, public transport is operating there quite well. Crowded during sunny days and weekends, but nothing crazy, just count with many people around. As more people are coming by public transport rather than a car, there are always some free parking spots.
Kahlenberg hill is a unique experience. You can take the buss from Vienna and go straight to the top or you can climb it from the bottom. The surroundings are very nice everything is exceptionally clean. The view is very good. You can see all of vienna from a top. You can also climb some old watchtower for even a better view. You can also just walk. Everything is so natural and clean. The air is very fresh. The busses circulate a lot in the weekend so you sont need to take your car. Also at the hill are some wine yards where you can buy some wine and also a lot of restaurants where you can eat. There are also places for children to have fun. It is also a picnic place for all the family.
One of the places which u have to visit while ur in Vienna to see the view of the city from up there are 2 coffees u can chose one of them and set to drink and enjoy the seen I really recommended for ppl who are coming to the city
