Amazing building and breakfast. We arrive there on Sunday just five minutes before the opening an the queue on the street was long. Once inside you see a vet nice and traditional salon and an amazing variety of cakes and pastries. The service is superb and the quality too. In case you are in the main salon, take a look to the other one in the back left side (looking from the entrance) and you will discover a second salon in the middle of the building with a beautiful stair. I cannot describe the cakes properly, so take a look to the pictures. Enjoy

We walked through the streets of Vienna and stopped to this amazing building. The place it’s self is unique taking you back to another era. High quality food, out of this world deserts, superb service especially from our waiter Denis who he treated us very professionally. He took time to talk to us about the history and the selection of the food. Highly recommended, I will always visit again, deeply ingrained in my memory.

Amazing place for a meal in the city. Pretty crowded in the afternoon. We waited about half an hour to get in. Very polite staff. You must taste the cakes 🍰. They are delicious.

Best cafe in town! Beautiful historic place. Amazing selection of cakes. One of the best sachertortes in Vienna. Everything is top quality and very delicious. There might be a lineup to get in depending on when you visit but it moves pretty quickly.

It pretending to be the best and famous, it is not. We waited 15 minutes for sitting - it is OK, cause the place is famous. We were sitting 15 (!) minutes, and the waiter didn't come to take an order. I am sorry. Such a situation is not OK even for the simple coffee-shop in the middle of nowhere. But for such a cafe it is catastrophic. We simply leave without having a meal. I remember my father (RIP) was going to this cafe at 1998, all the time that he was in Vienna. Telling me about it. With great appreciation... 2 decades past and Vienna changes
