Everything you want from a local market. Many organic choices. Many unique craft and recycle material stores around the edges. The only thing I don’t like is the parking, chaotic and limited space.
Liked it but didn't love it. Why aren't there many farmers markets in Sydney with individual growers selling their produce? I like markets where I can visit my dairy lady, the potato man, the orange lady, the kiwi lady. In Sydney it's mostly just a bunch of people reselling what I can buy at Harris Farms. *yawn*
Really decent local community food market. Awesome selection of seasonal fruit and vegies. Great vibe, good music and some really unusual finds. Highly recommended.
Great fresh produce - organic and chemical- free. Friendly stall- holders and a great variety of other items.
We like to experience local culture and a fresh food market is a good place to go. We took the bus from hour hotel down to the market. The market had many booths selling nice looking fresh produce, vegetables, fruits baked good, etc. All of it looked really good and reasonably priced. They also had many food booths cooking up sandwiches, selling deserts also. We were talking to a lady who regularly visits the market and she said we were the first tourists she has ever met at the market. The market is only open on Sunday. It was busy when we attended.
