Had slightly higher expectations of this place. Nevertheless it is stunning and certainly a lot to discover. Though a lot of people and not a huge difference from other places

A must see if visiting far north Qld. There are lots of tours to choose from but we opted to hire a car and drive from cairns to cape tribulation and spend a day. Some great cafes and walks to stop and enjoy. The discovery centre is an excellent source of info on the rainforest area. While a day trip was fantastic you could easily stay somewhere local and enjoy a few days here.
