245 Wilson St, Eveleigh NSW 2015, Australia
I just loved the whole lot! I enjoyed the vastness of the hall. It is so cathedral like! I like also the acoustics of it all. I had Sleep by Max Richter going through my mind so i went through the music on my phone and gave it a blast for a few minutes - didn't disappoint. I also had a wee walk around the grounds. I found Carriage Works a unique and very interesting place. I thoroughly recommend that you visit too! It is quite close to Newtown so you can have a meal while you are in the area.
Such a fantastic location. Super friendly and helpful staff. I've been here mainly for exhibitions and dance performances. Hopefully one day I'll make it to the farmers market on Saturdays which I've only heard good things about.
COVID-19 has decimated this place, there is nothing left except for a few cafes serving the same generic cafe drinks and food. Your dinning options are non existent here. What's left are just a few grocer stalls and the violin man.
Great space. Most of the time it is empty but it is to host many other events. Well maintained.
The farmer's market on Saturday morning has a selection of excellent produce. Fruit, vegetables, oils, cakes (Flour and Stone) and wines.
Sharing is caring!
