F4 Castlereagh St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Food was OK, but the view was spectacular! Buffet definitely means a little bit of a laid back environment. Only issue I had was that ordering drinks had to be paid on the spot and cannot be added to one final bill at end of meal.
The views are amazing. My scoring is based on the waitress we had in our section. She looked like she didn't want to be there and wasnt as enthusiastic as the others that day. The other reason for the score is that, although the buffet options weren't too bad... I was a little disappointed in the seafood options (prawn and mussels only). I was also wanting water. We weren't offered any because we had a jug of coke on our table. I feel as if that water shouldn't need to be asked but at least have a station available for us to just pour our own. Finally, I wasn't a fan of the 1.5hr sitting. Rushed to engulf dessert plate. You have to remember that the place rotates, so people gets disoriented about which part they went to last for their food. A minimum 2 hour should be for sitting.
If you are fortunate to be in Sydney in strongly recommend that you dine here. Book just before sunset for the best views. The buffet menu is vast. Go and do it. Live a little 😊
Seating for the buffet is very restricted. Hard to manage the steak sandwich and pint given as part of the deal. 25 A$ each for this. The views are great but harbour bridge obscured by skyscraper. You have to wait a few minutes for the elevator as well. Should have gone for the full dining experience as tables are a lot better. Not sure if it's for this.
Great atmosphere and staff. Some menu items are good, others might be average. Views are amazing, though I don't like the lights near the window. Enjoy the fact that we're spinning. Do make reservations if you're planning on dining.
