Anna Sigríður:This place is just a few minutes by car from our home in Fossvogur. (maybe around 10 to 15 min walk) The pizzas are great! Maybe a bit pricey but what isn't in Iceland ;)

Anna Sigríður:Take a food tour with Wake up Reykjavík. Great way to try all the nice food Reykjavík has to offer. My nephew owns this company so that´s also why I love it so much! Look them up on Trip advisor.

Anna Sigríður:This one is also cheap and might have a little different selections and more variety than Bónus if you are looking for something special.

Anna Sigríður:This one is not cheap but has a lot more selections. So if you want to be sure to find that strange sauce for that particular casserole you should find it here. I would though not do my whole grocery shopping here.

The Reykjadalur Hot Spring Hike on Your Own
Anna Sigríður:Such a lovely walk, I really recommend. It´s about 45 minutes drive from our home. The hike will take a few hours, just depends on how long you want to soak in the hot spring.

Anna Sigríður:Beautiful place on a beautiful day. Takes around 3 hours to get there but Snæfellsnes has some nice places on the way.

Anna Sigríður:This is a very popular tourist place and there is a reason why. But if you plan to have this as a part of a daytrip you should leave early. It takes over 4 hours to get there from Reykjavík.
