Sheshi Skënderbej 1, Tirana 1000, Albania
Old style, classic museum (displays with text). After visiting, you will know all that is worth to know about Albanian history for the past few thousand years - if you have read all the text. Excellent iconographic exhibition on the top floor.
There are a lot of interesting information about Albania history. The information is presented in English as well except for some of them in the last floor. The price is good and you can pay with euros, but you can't pay with card. There is no air conditioning and in the hot days it's very hot inside.
Fairly mediocre museum. Be aware that not everything is explained in English. The building doesn’t have air conditioning so when I was there (in the summer) the temperature of some of the rooms was quite hot. If you need to kill some time it’s worth a try - the entrance ticket is 200LEK so....
Disappointing museum with a lack of English on a lot of the displays. It's a good place to kill some time (for only 200LEK) but I didn't come out feeling like I knew a whole lot more about the history of Albania...which is what it was all about.
Interesting museum, most displays have English notes. Gives a good insight into the origins of Albania.
